Cheam Village Newsagents

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. The lady is very belligerent. This business does not fit in Cheam village where people are polite and nice. I sent a parcel that was lost in transit and the courier company sent me a claim link to give to the drop-off point so that a claim from the courier company could be started, since this is the usual process the courier company follows to investigate lost parcels and process claims. The shop says that if you drop a parcel and it's lost in transit then it's not their responsibility. They can't claim and have nothing to do with the courier company, except an app that they use to register the parcel. I came to know that this is a usual occurrence there. So send your parcels at your own risk, or choose another drop-off location! I am all for supporting local businesses but even one star is one too many for Cheam Village Newsagents.
